Who We Are
Langford Consulting, Inc. is the legal name for our company, and was founded in 1985 by Mary Lou Langford, PT with the vision of providing accurate objective testing to determine an individual's capability to safely perform work and life activities. Since that time several thousand Functional Capacity Assessments have been performed. We continue to be a leader in this field.

Since those early days we have also performed hundreds of job analyses and established onsite employee ergonomics and injury treatment programs for large companies in the area. Meet our staff

As the business climate normally changes over time, so has our vision. We now operate as Langford Sports & Physical Therapy in Albuquerque, and Cibola Sports & Physical Therapy in Grants, NM. Our vision, however, remains to be the best at what we do.

At Langford Sports & Physical Therapy, in Albuquerque, we have treated world champion athletes, as well as the neighborhood retiree, whose problems may differ but not the need for excellent care. Our athletic trainers provide event coverage for the local high schools. We continue to provide industrial services and treat injured workers.

In 1996 we expanded to include an outpatient PT clinic in Grants, NM, bringing a full service clinic to the area for the first time. We have recently expanded in Grants to provide inpatient and outpatient services for PT, OT, and Speech at Cibola General Hospital and Good Samaritan Nursing Center.

Our focus at the hospital is rehabilitation of more severe conditions requiring multiple services. Our primary focus at our freestanding outpatient clinics in Albuquerque and Grants is to provide excellent orthopedic care that is focused on problem resolution and patient education, as well as thorough and objective Functional Capacity Assessments, with clearly communicated and useful information. Our Neighborhood Fitness Program encourages exercise in a friendly, low key environment, close to home.

Our primary asset is the excellent staff we employ. They all have a caring attitude, resourcefulness in searching for the correct treatment, and persistence toward problem resolution.
