Mary Lou Langford- Physical Therapist, President (Albuquerque, Grants)
Mary Lou has over 35 years experience as a physical therapist and has worked in all aspects of the field. She is the President of Langford Sports and Physical Therapy, a founding member and marketing director of Desert States Physical Therapy Network, and graduate of the University of Kentucky.
Andrea Smith- PT, MPT (Albuquerque, Grants)
Andrea graduated from the University of New Mexico in 2004 with a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy and postgraduate work in treatment of Women's Health including treatment for pelvic pain, incontinence, and pain during pregnancy. Andrea is our Women's Health specialist. She also has a background treating patients with neurological and orthopedic problems and has attended many postgraduate courses for treating the spine and extremities.
Becky Flattley PT, DPT (Albuquerque/Grants)
Becky graduated from the Unversity of New Mexico in 2010 with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Her undergraduate studies were in Biology and Spanish. Becky's interests include orthopedics, sports injuries and pediatrics. She enjoys working with people of all ages and backgrounds.
Beth Jones- PT, DPT, OCS (Albuquerque)
Dr. Jones has 27 years of experience with a doctorate in Physical Therapy from A.T. Still University and is board certified in orthopedics. Beth is an assistant professor at the University of New Mexico where she has a duel appointment in the Physical Therapy department and the Medical School teaching Gross Anatomy. She specializes in manual therapy, especially of the spine, and is the instructor for advanced spinal manipulation in the Physical Therapy School. Beth is also active nationally in the orthopedic section of the American Physical Therapy Association as the educational chair.
Carmen Hernandez- Account Specialist (Albuquerque)
Carmen is responsible for patient accounts and ensuring that billing is completed in compliance with payer requirements. She can answer any of your billing questions.
Denise Valdez- Patient Care Coordinator (Albuquerque)
Fluent in both English and Spanish Denise can answer any administrative questions and will assist you with scheduling and insurance authorizations when needed.
Jimmy Minner- PT, DPT (Albuquerque, Grants)
Jimmy graduated from the University of New Mexico in 2010 with his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. He is also a nationally certified personal trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine and worked for 4+ years as a personal trainer prior to practicing as a physical therapist. He enjoys working with people with varying backgrounds, but has a strong background in sports rehabilitation. Jimmy had an eight-week affiliation with Idaho Sports Medicine Institute in an outpatient orthopedic clinic specializing in sports medicine and was an athlete in his own right for the UNM Track and Field Program from 2000-2004.
Julie Jenkins- M.S., SLP-CCC
Julie has a Master of Science in Speech and Language pathology from the University of New Mexico. She has 26 years of experience providing rehabilitation to adults with language, cognitive, and voice and swallowing disorders. She specializes in the treatment of adults with neurogenic disorders of communication and swallowing, including performing videofluoroscopic swallowing assessments.
Kristi Dyer, AT, LMT (Albuquerque)
Kristi became a Certified Athletic Trainer in 1992 after graduating with a BS in Sports Science from Colby-Sawyer College in NH. In 1997 she graduated from The Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy. Kristi is certified in Myofascial Release and enjoys working her craft with people of all ages.
Lea Craver- MPT (Albuquerque)
Lea graduated from the University of New Mexico in 2004 with a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy. She has attended many postgraduate continuing education courses and gained significant expertise in treating the spine and foot. She has an undergraduate degree in athletic training.
Mike Rohde- MS, PT, MPT, ATC, CSCS (Albuquerque, Grants)
Mike graduated from the University of New Mexico with a Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training in 1994 and a Master's Degree in Sports Administration in 1998. He later returned to UNM, receiving his Master's Degree in Physical Therapy in 2007. Mike's special interests lie in orthopedics, and he especially enjoys working with athletes at every level. Mike's experience includes many years of working with athletes at the high school and college level. Additionally, Mike served as an Athletic Trainer at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, Georgia.
Maureen Schufft- Office Manager and Marketing Director (Albuquerque)
Maureen has an extensive background in health care management and oversees all front office functions, ensures compliance with insurance requirements, and provides community education regarding the services we provide.
Romie Jaramillo- Office Manager and Patient Care Coordinator (Grants- Mountain Rd Location)
Romie coordinates patient registration, insurance benefits, scheduling, followup on patient accounts, ensuring that insurance guidelines are met, and coordinating patient care.
Theresa Barton- Physical Therapist (Albuquerque)
Theresa has worked as a physical therapist for over 35 years and has performed several thousand functional capacity and job assessments, ADA recommendations, ergonomic assessments, and expert witness testimony. She is a graduate of Colombia University and has been with Langford Sports and Physical Therapy for over 20 years.
Tom Terrill- Human Resources (Albuquerque, Grants)
Tom manages our Human Resources departments as well as accounts payable and information systems for all of our sites.
Sherrie Horacek- Office Manager and Patient Care Coordinator (Grants, Cibola General Hospital and Good Samaritan Center Grants)
Sherrie is our onsite manager for our hospital location coordinating insurance verification and authorization for our patients, scheduling patients and complying with hospital needs. Sherrie also coordinated care with Good Samaritan Center Grants for maintaining data and compliance with policies and scheduling patients for treatment.
Walter Jaramillo- PTT, Fitness Specialist (Grants)
Walter is a graduate of the PIMA Medical Institute and has received additional training and certification through the Cooper Institute in Dallas as a Fitness Specialist focusing on training for those with conditions like Diabetes and Arthritis. Walter assists with treatment, provides fitness assessments and program design, and runs our Neighborhood Fitness program.
Wilma Jaramillo- PTT (Grants)
Wilma is a graduate of PIMA Medical Institute and assists with patient care at all our Grants locations. Wilma especially enjoys working with our elderly patients. She is patient and loves to hear their stories while assisting them with treatment goals.
